I was fortunate enough to be able to organize and manage the filming of this footage and I was the principal photographer of the LCS 9 Little Rock in Lake Michigan. I worked with a hired helicopter film crew to run videography operations that I directed, while taking photography out the window of the hired helicopter crew. I created this video edit on the same day, offloading and editing 6K RED footage.

The USS Little Rock’s (LCS 9) acceptance trials were completed in Marinette, Wisconsin, Aug. 25,2017. The five-day, U.S. Navy-led trials featured a comprehensive array of tests designed to demonstrate performance of the ship’s propulsion plant, handling and auxiliary systems. Completion of the trials marked the last major milestone before LCS 9 was delivered to the Navy.
